Which South Florida Web Designer Truly Delivers W3C Compliance?
Not Just Number One ... The ONLY One!
Bruce Arnold's Web Marketing Tips
(Issue 43::RSS Release 1014)
The single most objective measure of the quality of a website--and the credibility and capabilities of its designer--is
compliance with the professional web design standards promulgated by the
World Wide Web Consortium.
The "W3C" was established in 1994 to guide the Web to its full potential by developing protocols and standards
to promote innovation while assuring accessibility and interoperability. In addition to guaranteeing error-free
web pages and stylesheets, validating compliance with W3C standards helps assure that all users--regardless of
culture, language, education, ability, access devices or physical limitations--can have access to your site.
A key indicator of a web designer's commitment to quality is their adherence to W3C standards, and one way to test
that is to validate their home pages. On Thursday, 11 September 2008, we submitted for
W3C validation the home pages of every website with
"Top 10" Google, Yahoo or MSN Search rankings for the unquoted term web design miami. Web browser screen shots
of the results for each are available at W2Miami.com.
Of the 21 South Florida web designer sites tested for W3C compliance, Bruce Arnold's
PervasivePersuasion.com was once again the only one whose
home page validated with no errors and no warnings:
